When a client registers their interest with vacademy we will pass their details to the most appropriate Accredited Partner. The partner has the responsibility of making initial customer contact and will arrange a mutually convenient time and location to discuss their requirements.
With contact between the vacademy partner and client successfully established, the first phase of the L.E.A.D programme is to initiate an analysis to discover what areas of virtualisation may be appropriate for the client. Experience shows that in many cases a client does not yet have a fully informed view of just how their business will be able to benefit from the technology, how it can reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and bring about a better Return on Investment (ROI). In certain circumstances clients may have already completed an initial virtualisation project (often server based) which while bringing benefits, perhaps around server consolidation, has not brought the level of TCO saving and ROI originally expected.
The virtualisation Analytical Survey or VAS has been developed essentially as an automated tool which allows the vacademy Accredited Partner to conduct a focussed question and answer session across a number of indicative business and technology areas. It enables the client organisation and the vacademy Accredited Partner to quickly come to an understanding in relation to specifics of the business, where it is currently, what its future objectives are and what areas of virtualisation maybe relevant to achieving those objectives. Our experience has enabled us to filter out all but the most appropriate and important questions required, ensuring that focus is maintained and valuable time is maximised, leading to a relaxed but highly productive analysis process which takes in the region of three to four hours to complete.
